Liturgical Wordpress, part deux

Speaking of changing the color of your website based on the liturgical calendar, Scott Lenger has up on his site a Wordpress plugin to do exactly that. I can’t decide if that’s good or bad.

I’ve been thinking of a site re-design for a while, and I blame Dean for getting me started on it again. This is not what I needed to get my final papers completed this semester.

  • @Scott: Postponing the redesign is definitely best. If I can just resist the urge to work on it until then, I'll be doing great. I think I have enough complaints about the current design that I want to do something drastic. At the same time, I love that quote from the ALA article you linked: "The essence of strategy is choosing what not to do."
  • Of course it's good!! :) Though getting a design that is flexible enough to support the movements of the liturgical seasons does take some work. Perhaps it's best to post-pone the redesign until after the semester. Or, have you considered a 're-align?'
  • Sure ... go ahead ... blame it on the snake!

I suppose it's better than hiding behind the excuse "The woman you made for me ..."
