@Scott: Postponing the redesign is definitely best. If I can just resist the urge to work on it until then, I’ll be doing great. I think I have enough complaints about the current design that I want to do something drastic. At the same time, I love that quote from the ALA article you linked: “The essence of strategy is choosing what not to do.”

Of course it’s good!! Though getting a design that is flexible enough to support the movements of the liturgical seasons does take some work. Perhaps it’s best to post-pone the redesign until after the semester. Or, have you considered a ‘re-align?’
